Goat Breakfast

Official Synopsis

Near the slopes of Mount Meru in northern Tanzania, prolonged climate drought challenges traditional pastoral routines. Goat Breakfast provides an intimate, sensory portrait of Paulo, a Maasai herder, and his daily interactions with his herd of goats. Revealing deep multispecies affection, communication, and mutual reliance, the documentary explores how intimate human-animal bonds form the bedrock of Maasai survival in rapidly warming semi-arid savannahs.
